First create a question that is researchable regarding your candidate.  Then create a gathering grid of information where you can store links to your resources.  Use Word to insert a table.

Some math for figuring out how to predict a successful word count:

Multiply the words you type in 10 minutes by the number of 10 minute blocks you will write in a day.  EX:  If you plan to write for 20 minutes, multiply by 2, 3 for 30 minutes.

Next multiply that number by the number of days you plan to write in November.  Just week days?  21.  All days?  30.  Haven't started yet?  26.  And hurry - that counts today!
